I realized the other day that time is passing by so quickly. Vacations are flying by and so are the seasons and birthdays.
I decided to take some time to sit down and think about my life… I have come so far! But I do not want to continue to be complacent. I’ve experienced so much that I don’t want my early 20’s to be my only memories of success and adventure. I want to keep that momentum going.
Lately, I have done quite a bit to keep that going. So I have some big and fun announcements 🙂
I will start attending Kent State University this spring as a Digital Science Major with a minor in fine arts.
I have started to learn Yoga and how to meditate. I would like for this to teach me to slow down and take some time for myself.
I have started to cut out dairy and gluten from my diet. I have been feeling very sluggish and lethargic lately… so I wanted to clean up my diet. I am cooking at home more and putting more wholesome food in my everyday diet.
Sadly I have had a gym membership for over a year and just now started using it regularly. I guess some use is better than no use!
- Bad Habits
I have more than a few bad habits… My biggest three are procrastination, organization, and hiding from problems. I have been tackling each of these daily but have been focusing more on organization lately. I feel that if my life isn’t clean and organized I will not be able to get anything done.
Soon I would like to start doing more such as taking painting classes or going to more events.
I have always struggled with what this blog should be about…
I finally had an epiphany and realized its ok to make my blog a lifestyle blog. There is no shame in that. I am passionate about so many things that it wouldn’t be fair to myself to only do a blog about technology or beauty. I like many others am multi-faceted in my interests and will use this blog to celebrate those interests!
